At that instant he realized that when his prediction came true, millions would know the name of Jacob Farley. His earthly fame would be short lived because everyone would either be in heaven or hell. It wasn’t fair that he wouldn’t share in the same kind of accolades as his ministerial heroes. He dreamed that he might even be rewarded some special status in heaven in appreciation for bringing so many souls to Christ. Maybe he’d get to hang out with Paul and Isaac and other Biblical luminaries. Finally, he’d receive the recognition he deserved.
Mass communication and free speech had made it possible to change the lives of millions. He felt a fleeting melancholy for the misguided Islamic nations who would rue the absence of freedom of religion.
